It started with the pioneering ‘Ever-Sharp’ mechanical pencil but since its
foundation in 1912, Sharp has progressively evolved into one of the most
renowned electrical brands in the world. Guided by our business creed of

Sharp’s achievements include a long list of ground breaking technological
discoveries and innovative products that have certainly contributed towards the
improvement of human living and the advancement of society as whole.
Among these era-defining, one-of-a-kind products are Sharp’s first
Japanese-made crystal radio sets and first mass production of TV sets to
coincide with Japan’s first TV broadcast. On the world stage, Sharp holds
various distinctions with its world’s first products such as the LCD electronic
calculators, LCD Viewcam, camera-equipped mobile phone, Plasmacluster Ion
technology and the world’s largest 108” LCD TV.
Meanwhile in Malaysia, Sharp’s presence was further consolidated with the
establishment of Sharp-Roxy Sales & Service Company (M) Sdn Bhd (SRSSC) in
1985. As the marketing arm of the Sharp Group in Malaysia, SRSSC is responsible
for the sales, marketing, promotion and service of all Sharp products in the
country. The company has consistently maintains high standards of quality in its
products and services to meet and even surpass Malaysian consumers’ huge
expectation of the brand.
